National Nanofabrication Users’ Network. He holds an
Adjunct Professorship in the School of Chemical Engineering
at Cornell, and has over ten years’ industrial experience
in in vitro assay development, with an emphasis on
the design and implementation of microfluidic-based, high-throughput
automated assays for applications in drug discovery. Dr. Baxter
has multidisciplinary research experience in cell biology,
biochemistry, and cancer biology, and technical expertise
in micro- and nanofabrication engineering. He has published
over twenty peer-reviewed papers and book chapters, has served
as principal investigator on a number of grants in the emerging
field of nanobiotechnology, and is inventor or co-inventor
