The Company: Overview

 

HμREL^® Corporation is an early-stage bioanalytic tools company with operations based in Kenilworth and New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA.  Robert Freedman serves as Chief Executive Officer.  Martin Yarmush is the Company’s Chief Scientific Adviser.

 

The Company maintains worldwide exclusive rights to certain patents owned by Cornell University, where HμREL^®’s microfluidic technology was invented.  HμREL^® continues to build its intellectual property foundation and presently has ten patents either already allowed or under active prosecution.

 

The Company is engaged in research collaborations with corporations that are global leaders in their respective fields of endeavor.  In addition to its senior management, financial staff and support personnel, HμREL^® currently maintains a technical complement of six Ph.D.-level scientists and engineers.  The Company is adding to both its senior management team and its laboratory staff as it prepares for the imminent launch of general commercial operations.
